Home Purchase Applications Rise 6.3%:: Realtor.org :: Wilmington NC real esate

REALTOR® Magazine-Daily News-Home Purchase Applications Rise 6.3%.

The world of real estate keeps turning….  The Mortgage Bankers Association announced that the home purchase applications rose 6.3 % from the week before, based on a seasonally adjusted basis.  On the unadjusted basis, it rose 4%.  This is the highest level since May, but the numbers are still down from last years numbers.  The expiration of the home buyer credit caused a slow down in the applications for mortgages.  The refinance rate was at 3.1%.
