Fantastic news for the Wilmington NC area. One Tree Hill has been picked up for the 9th season. The decision was down to the wire, and we are glad that they have decided to to stay. It is fun seeing filming around town, plus it is a bonus for our local economy. Screen Gems is especially busy lately. Two TV pilots were filmed here this year, Revenge and Hart of Dixie. Piranha 3D, Mysterious Island 3D and others have get the studio hopping. Some of the actors and crew have bought homes in the area, which must mean they enjoy Wilmington.
